Spring Sing Choral Festival: From the Pews, is a three-day festival, curated by Anna Teagarden and presented on May 15 -17th at St Mary’s Catholic Church, First Presbyterian and St Paul’s Episcopal Church. As part of Marfa Live Arts’ culturally significant 2020 programming. Our second choral festival features a series of free concerts and master classes staged in several historic churches of Marfa. The festival brings standout choral and composer talents together with immersive and interactive site-specific performances. By creatively engaging both place and performance, church and choir, Spring Sing choral festival is curated to transcend the traditional and evoke a sense of place, perspective, unity and joy.
