Marfa Live Arts and The Lumberyard presented Bukka Allen on Sunday, October 30th at 8pm in the Adobe Room. Bukka is an accomplished keyboardist and accordion player who has performed and recorded with his father Terry Allen as well as Ian Moore, Joe Ely, Robert Earl King, The ,  and . As a singer/ songwriter, he has recorded two critically acclaimed solo albums, 1998's Sweet Valentine and 2007's Confidante. Allen is a major force behind Austin's premier instrumental group, Screen Door Music and has scored commercials and films. He lives in Austin, TX.

 

The show was free and open to the public. The Lumberyard is at 201 E. Dallas St. in Marfa.
